We route around it where we can: local guidance favors Camino Del Mar and the coast road over Via de la Valle on the highest-attendance race days, and we time a client pickup around whichever route is actually moving that morning, not the one that looks shortest on a map.
Away from the Fairgrounds, the constraint is simpler. Coast Boulevard parking near the beach is metered and limited, with no large public lot at the main beach access, so a Village pickup works better as a named corner than a search for a spot.

The SAN run from Del Mar takes about 27 to 30 minutes down I-5, which gives a chauffeur real room to track a flight and still be at the curb ahead of a client walking out with bags.
