What Event Transportation Is Not
Because 'event' covers so much ground, it helps to be precise about where this term stops and a more specific one takes over.

- A daily commuter shuttle on a fixed route — that's corporate transportation, booked around a schedule, not a single event
- A one-off airport transfer with no event attached to it — that's a standard transfer, priced and booked differently
- Freight or equipment shipped with no passengers riding along — we move people to the event, not cargo without them
- A stretch limo or party bus booked purely as the venue for the night — that vehicle is the destination, not a way to reach one
- A recurring weekly booking with the same pickup every time — an event, by definition, happens once, or on its own calendar, not every week
Repetition doesn't disqualify it — a monthly wine-tasting outing is booked as its own event each time it happens, not folded into a fixed route.

Vehicles We Use
We size the vehicle to the event rather than the other way around — a single sedan for two people heading to a show, or several larger vehicles moving a full team or touring group together. The booking starts from the occasion and the headcount, not from a fixed vehicle class.
A single event can also need more than one vehicle type at once — a group vehicle for the main party and a smaller car for someone arriving separately. We plan the mix against the day rather than defaulting to one vehicle for everyone.

How Pricing Works
Event transportation is priced against the shape of the occasion rather than one fixed model. A single pickup and drop-off suits a flat transfer rate. An evening that includes waiting through the event itself — a game, a show, a ceremony — suits an hourly rate with a minimum, because the vehicle is being held, not just driven.
A larger group or a multi-vehicle event is usually priced per vehicle or as a day rate, so one line item covers the whole occasion instead of a separate charge for every car involved. Gratuity, tolls, and any venue or parking fees the event actually involves get added the same way regardless of which model applies.

How Far in Advance to Book
A single vehicle for a small group can often be arranged with just a few days' notice. A multi-vehicle event, or one on a date that overlaps a major local happening, needs more runway, because matching several vehicles and chauffeurs to one occasion takes real coordination.
Book earlier for anything tied to a fixed, unmovable date — a graduation, a specific game, a ceremony — since those dates don't have the flexibility that a casual outing does if the fleet is already stretched.

What Happens on the Day
We confirm pickup time, address, and headcount ahead of the event, then track the event itself where that's possible — a game's actual start, a ceremony running long — rather than working strictly off the original schedule.
Every car or van we send out is registered for commercial passenger work, carries its own insurance, and is inspected where its class requires it, whatever the size of the event it's booked for. One invoice closes the whole occasion once it wraps, rather than a separate bill for each vehicle involved.
