When San Diego Books Event Transportation

Airport Runs and Timing
A touring crew, a sports team, or a family flying in for a graduation ceremony usually lands as a group, and SAN treats a prearranged fleet the same way it treats a single limo — staged on the dedicated commercial curb lanes on the Arrivals level, apart from the rideshare lanes, with Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 running separate pickup flows we confirm before any vehicle leaves the yard. How Pricing Works
Each vehicle in an event booking is priced off its own class minimum — sedan, SUV, or something larger — and a multi-vehicle booking is really several of those minimums running in parallel, not one combined rate. Wait time is built into that minimum up to a set window, since a session or a game running long pushes every car's wait past it at once.
Gratuity works one of two ways depending on the operator — folded into the quote as a set convention, or left to the group's discretion — so confirm which applies before the event, not after. A South Bay leg adds SR-125's variable toll, and a venue with its own parking or valet fee passes that cost through as well.
None of this holds steady against a peak date: a fleet quoted for Comic-Con week or a Del Mar festival evening reflects how few vehicles are actually free that week, not a fixed rate card.

What Happens on the Day
Once the vehicle count and schedule are confirmed, you get a single point of contact for the whole booking, not a separate dispatch line for each car. We stage the fleet against the venue's actual program — first pitch, a keynote's end time, a ceremony's start — and adjust if it moves, rather than holding everyone to the time booked weeks earlier.
Every vehicle in the fleet carries what California requires — a CPUC TCP permit with liability and property insurance filed against it, scaled to seating capacity — and anything seating more than ten passengers, or any modified vehicle, also carries a CHP safety inspection. None of that shows from the back seat, but it separates a fleet with standing to work an event from one without it.
